I am a mommy!!!

Brinlee Lynn Gainer was born Nov. 8th at 6:26 am. She was 8 pounds and 3 ounces and 21 inches long. She is beautiful and healthy and I am so happy and proud to be her mom. It was funny because the Dr. decided to induce me on 12th so I finally decided that she wasn't going to come until then, but on Friday night after Dave left to dr. appt. in American Fork and Ashlee left to a friends house, my water broke. It took me awhile to believe it because I have had so many false alarms I just couldn't believe it to be true. And it almost wasn't because I got to the hospital and the nurse did a test on me to see if it had broke and it came back negative. But after she tried it one more time it came back positive. My labor was actually pretty easy and quick minus the pushing. I was only in labor about 12 hours but 3 of those were pushing. She was sideways in the birth canal and also was pretty big so they finally used to vacuum and with in a few pushes she was here! She is great and perfect. I passed out the first time I got up to walk after I had her and ended up getting a blood transfusion to help out(which then I had a bad reaction to) but they put me on iron and I am feeling a lot better and actually able to get around now. Halloween!!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I love to dress up. I think everyone should! I always say you get presents on Christmas so why not dress up on Halloween. That is how it works! This year was tricky because I didn't know if I was going to have Brinlee yet, so I had 2 costumes ready. I treasure troll if I was still pregnant and a cat if I had her. (Brinlee and I were going to be Dave's cats because he was a crazy cat lady). Every year we dress up and go out to dinner as a family. It was really fun!! Here are some pictures!!
