What a great week! I wish you could have all witnessed my dance around the bathroom when I got on the scale! I lost 1 lb and 6 inches! Holy cow! That's a whole Subway sandwich (which sounds delicious right now :)) I honestly made Dave measure twice because I didn't believe him, I thought he was trying to make me feel good. I am so proud because I really did try hard this week and I needed some results to cheer me up. That means that I have now lost 7 lbs and 29.75 inches! That is just crazy. Maybe if I am feeling brave I will post some pictures next week to show the progress.
This week I am just going to stay with it. I need some more TV influences since Biggest Loser is over tonight and Ruby (I don't know if anyone has seen her show, it comes on the Style Channel. Its really good) is over. What are some of your things you use to stay motivated? Any good ideas?

Fat Tuesday

I am back! I don't know if anyone missed me, but I can defiantly say that reporting my progress helps me keep with it. So now that my stress level has come back down and I back to full force. Dave and I made a goal last February that when his sister Heidi came home from her mission we would be in the best shape of our lives, well guess what... that is in 10 weeks! Time flies but it is great motivation to get back in to it. I need to loose 15 lbs to be back to what I was when I got married and that is only 1.5 lbs a week so it is very possible. I am convinced I am going to loose it now because first I went back to my thyroid doctor and he upped my dose and put me on a higher dose of vitamin D so I have that on my side. Second (sorry for the TMI :)) I started using that Activia yogurt and it has been helping my stomach issues and third I go in for a scope on Thursday to see what is going on with all my heart burn and to check for sure to see if I have celiac disease (I have already had the blood test and it came back negative but I have been showing more symptoms of it) so hopefully finding out more about that can help too.
I am excited to get back into. I have been pretty good at still working out but now I am going to try for 6 days and I am back on a meal plan. I can still eat some carbs but not tons. Wish me luck! And I wish you guys luck too!

Kyra Lynn Whitley
My sister Collette had her baby on Wednesday and she is a complete doll. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. She is very sweet and I just love her and I am so excited to have her in our family. Here are some pictures of her. I love all her dark hair!

18 Month Party
If I have learned anything from my Mom in my life, it is that life is too short not to celebrate it. I feel like this lesson has been taught again to me lately. I know it is not typical to have a party for 18 month old, but I felt like it should be celebrated. People say why celebrate things that she wont remember but I don't really remember my 12th birthday and I am sure we celebrated it :)

Latest Craft Project
Get ready for week full of posts! First of all this has been my most recent project. This stool was mine when I was little and we have had it ever since. I figured now that Brinlee loves to help out she needed a stool so she could reach the sink. This is what it looked like at first. Not in very good shape since it was probably 22 years old +
If any of you know me, you know that I absolutely hate sand paper, nail files, and the sounds they make. So I used my fancy cleaning gloves so I could actually touch the sand paper and put my hood over my ears so I could sand it :) It was quite the sight

18 Months!
If I could sum Brinlee up in one picture it would be this one. This is her modeling her new swim suit I just bought for her. She is quite the ham. I can't believe that today she is 18 months. It has flown by. Some new things about my little fashion model are: she sometimes acts shy but it is all an act. She will wave and say Hi to anyone who will listen any where we go. She loves kids of all ages and doesn't care how old they are or if she knows them she will just go up to them and start to play with them. She can say 40 words now. Her favorite is still "Whats that?" but her recent new words are holy cow, bubbles, choo choo, juice, good, and snuggle. She absolutely loves to help me around the house. She helps unload the dishwasher, throw trash in the garbage, wash dishes and fold laundry. She still loves to dance and has just barley started to sing her own little songs. It is so cute whenever she hears music she will start to sing. She loves to be outside and blow bubbles. She also loves to give Mom that sweet innocent smile and then turn and runaway while we are outside.
I can't believe how big she has gotten and that she is turning into a little girl. Everyday she does something new that blows me away (like 2 days ago when she got a diaper and wipes and laid down on the floor and tried to change her own diaper :)) I am so grateful for her and my heart is so full of love for her. She is such a blessing in my life and always keeps me laughing.
Happy 18 months Birthday Brinlee!
PS Yay that she starts nursery tomorrow!
