Ashlee tagged me and if you know me, I think I have more quirks than normal qualities about me so here are just some of them....

1- I hate when people breath on me, and I also hate the sound of people breathing.
2- I hate when any one touches me behind my knees. (I will honestly slap someone who does it)
3- I hate when people leave cupboards open.
4- I am terrified of escalators and it takes me like an hour to get up enough courage to step on it.
5- I hate the feel of paper on my skin.
6- I hate when people use their feet to pick things up or move things.
7- I can't stand when people take clothes out of the closet and leave the hanger there instead of moving it to the front.
8- I hate when people touch my ears.
9- I hate walking through metal detectors at stores because I swear I can always make them go off.

Maternity Pictures!

I went to the Dr. yesterday and I haven't progressed any since my last check up, but he said that her head is so low that he wouldn't be surprised if she came any day now. I was hoping for a more exact answer of when she is coming but I guess that is how life works :) I am still having contractions about every half an hour and they said there is still nothing they can do about it but be on pain medication. So now I am just trying to get all the last things done before she gets here.

Halloween Cookies

First of all... nothing really new is going on with the labor. No Brinlee yet and I am still having contractions but about every 30 minutes now. I feel like crap and am definitely ready for something to change. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow morning so hopefully they will be able to tell me more tomorrow. But today I babysat Noah for a few hours and we made some cookies for Halloween. It was nice to get my mind off of everything and he always cracks me up. So here are some pictures from that.

30 hours and still counting....

Well here is the latest news on my pregnancy... Yesterday at about 1:00 pm (during church) I started to have contractions. I have been having contractions off and on since 30 weeks but these ones were coming about every 10 mins. SO after having contractions consistently for 7 hours and calling everyone in the world about what I should do, I decided to go to the hospital. When I got there they really started to pick up and I was having them about every 3 to 4 minutes. They checked me and I was only dilated to a 2. After 2 painful catheters to see if I had a bladder infection that was making me contract they decided that there wasn't enough progression to admit me. SO... this morning my contractions were about 8 minutes apart and the Dr. said that its too early to induce the labor and I'm too far along to stop or slow down the contractions with medication. So here I am in hour 30, tired, in pain and frustrated; wondering how long this all will last.

My Mommy...

This Saturday is the 3 year mark from my mom's passing. I cannot believe that it has been 3 years. In some ways I feel like it was just yesterday and in others it feels like I haven't seen her in forever. Either way, I still miss her more than anything and I don't think it will ever get any easier without her. I really wish she could be with me when I bring my beautiful baby into the world in a few weeks, but I know she will be there in spirit and I know she has been taking care of Brinlee up there. I just wanted to share some cute pictures of her so we all can remember how great she was and still is. Love you MOM!!
