September is Ovarian Cancer month and there is going to be a 5k and 1.5 mile walk on Sept. 19th at Sugar House Park for the Susan Sandoval Foundation. This is the first year that we have participated in anything for Ovarian Cancer and we are really excited to go and represent my Mom. We would love to have anyone who is interested in doing this to join us. Ashlee and I want to make shirts to wear so if you would like a shirt let us know! Thanks for all your love and support and hope to see you there!

9 Months!
Brinlee is 9 months! I can't even believe it! She is getting so big that you won't even believe it! She is 23 lbs 7 oz and 31 1/2 inches long! Holy cow! My doctor said she is in the 50 percentile for a 20 month old. I can't believe how tall she is. She jumped from wearing 12 month clothes to 2T. I wish I knew what my stats where from that age but in pictures we look close to the same size.
She is into everything! She is a pro at crawling and I swear I can look away for one second and she is out of the room. She is walking while holding on to things and she sometimes can do it with one hand. She has learned to climb the stairs, which I hate, so I have to keep a very close eye on her.
She has also learned to stand up in her crib. The bad things is she can't figure out how to sit down. So nap time has turned in to a fight of her standing up and me putting her back down. We have been working on learning to sit down so hopefully the fighting will stop soon.
She is so much fun and so so so cute. She is getting more and more personalty everyday. Her favorite things right now are to talk and sing. She also loves music. She always stops and starts to bounce and clap whenever she hears it. She can say Hi, so she is always saying Hi and waving to everyone. She has turned into quite a ham and likes to show off all her new tricks. She is so much fun and I am so glad to be her mommy.

A very fun weekend
This weekend was a very fun one! On Saturday it was my niece Maggie's birthday party! She is turning 2. It is so crazy that she is already 2 years old. She had a Dora and Diego party. It was very fun!
Then after the party we went to the Salt Lake County Fair demolition derby. It is something that I look forward to every year. It is so fun. And I think this year was the best! I am pretty sure there were over 10 fires! We decided to take Brinlee because our babysitter fell through and I was a little nervous about what she would think, but she loved it. She stood on Dave's lap and clapped the whole time. It was funny. I must have passed some of my red neck on to her :)

Not much time
Dave has decided to study to become a personal trainer! Which is great and he really is enjoying it. The bad (not really bad just lonely ) thing about it is that he has taken a 2nd job at 24 hour fitness to get his foot in the door. He really loves it there. It is nice to work at a job where people are actually nice to him and give him credit for the good work he does. But since he is super busy and gone all the time, it has made us take advantage of the short times we have together. Here are some fun things we have been up to.
Monday we went up to Snowbird to feed the fish. There is a pond up there that is really small that they pack full of fish and you can fish from it, but we always take up a loaf of bread and feed them. But as we were walking around we came to find a whole bunch of fun things to do. We had no idea they were even there!
Today we went to the 1-800 Contacts company party. Dave's brother works there and invited us to come. It was lots of fun. It was a backyard BBQ. They had it at a park by Thanksgiving Point. There was opstical courses and carnivals games and all sorts of fun stuff. Dave had the top time on a baseball throw and course when we left so we will have to see if he wins :)
