The Zoo

We're still having fun checking all are fun stuff off the list. Last week we went to 7 Peaks. I didn't take my camera :( but Brinlee had a blast. Thank goodness she had a life jacket because she was trying to drive head first into the waves in the wave pool. I learned a valuable lesson that it isn't the best idea to go when your 7 months pregnant. I didn't do much besides float in the tube but I guess getting in and out used more ab muscles than I thought, so I spent most of Friday and Saturday in bed hurting.

This week we went to the zoo. It was really fun but really busy. Brinlee had a really good time. She is so funny. She is obsessed with all kinds of vehicles, and if you have been to the zoo this year you know that a good part of it is under construction to make the new polar bear exhibit. So Brinlee begged the whole time if she could ride a tractor :)

The train was her favorite. But I thought this picture was funny. This is when we went through the tunnel. I don't know if it was the dark or the kids screaming that she didn't like.

Next fun thing on our list is going to Cedar for the 4th and maybe trying to play at a lake while we are down there. We are excited!

Brinlee's Big Girl Bed

I was putting off putting Brinlee in a bed until we moved so we could be on the same floor as her, but obviously that hasn't happened yet and it is getting closer to the baby coming so we decided now was the time. My biggest fear is her roaming around the house while we are sleeping so hopefully that doesn't happen :) We decided to get her a twin and not a toddler bed since she would probably outgrow a toddler bed soon. We got this one from Ikea. I really like it because it is really close to the ground.

She got to read books with a flashlight. She was really excited.

She slept all through the night in it last night. It still isn't her favorite thing and she keeps asking for her old room, but Dave (the nice man that he is) has volunteered to sleep on the floor in there for the first few days. Hopefully by the end the week she will love it.

Petting Zoo

I feel like I am slacking at taking pictures this year and that makes me sad so I tried to make up for it today:) We went to the barn at Thanksgiving point today. I am trying to do something fun every week till the baby gets here and I can't believe we only have 12 weeks left!! It is so weird to think I will have 2 kids soon.

Stuck in jail

This isn't exactly the cutest picture but this year you could ride around in a horse and buggy instead of the big wagon. It was really fun. Brinlee kept telling the horse to be careful every time we went over a bump.

It was a fun day. Hopefully we can check all the other fun things of our list before baby #2 comes.

Makeup?

Do you have a foundation that you love? I am having a makeup crisis. I feel like my makeup won't cover my spots lately, and I know most of it is because I am pregnant but I would like to look some what normal for the next few weeks of my pregnancy :) I went to Ulta today and the girl was bratty and made me feel dumb and the one she suggested was $38 and I really don't have that much money for makeup. SO... let me know what you use and like. Thanks!!
